Lara Lovell Marks, 42, died Monday, July 18, 2016 after succumbing to injuries from a car accident. The lifelong Effingham County native was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving Mom that loved Georgia Football, Coca-Cola Memorabilia, crabbing and shrimping. Dana is survived by her daughter, Danielle Marks (Joshua Gaspard); son, Wesley Marks; mother, Irma Lovell; brother, William Lovell (Sonia); uncle, Wank Lovell (Dale); and two nephews, Brian and Blake Davis. Funeral services were held 5 pm Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Bethesda United Methodist Church.

Lara's wishes were carried out and she was cremated and put in a biodegradable urn along with a maple tree seed. Lara was laid to rest on her family's property. Her memory will grow with the maple tree seed and will be part of the nature she was so fond of.
